Regulation and Procedure on Selection of Excellent Paper of the Year
Research Journal of Textile and Apparel
 

It has been decided that two to three papers published in the Research Journal of Textile and Apparel will be selected as Excellent Papers of the Year each year. The purpose of the selection is to recognize and acknowledge the quality research of the authors and their contribution to the journal, to continuously improve the general quality of papers published by the journal, and to enhance the status of the journal in the textile and apparel community.

 

1) Eligibility

  1. All the papers which were published in the Research Journal of Textile and Apparel in the previous calendar year are eligible for being selected.

2) Proceduretesting

  1. Immediately after the publication of the last issue of the journal in the year, editors will be asked to nominate one paper from each of the following fields: fiber, textile products (including yarn, fabric, and dye/finish), apparel (including design and production), and marketing/management. Based on his/her expertise, each editor can nominate three papers.

  2. The executive editor will convene a meeting at appropriate time to discuss the matter and recommend maximum three papers after deliberation of editors. A voting may be needed for the recommendation.

  3. The recommendation will be sent to members of the editorial board for their approval. Approval is assumed unless majority of the members reject the recommendation, in that case the process will start from step a) again.

3) Announcement and award

  1. The announcement on Excellent Papers of the Year will be made on the first page of the journal in the following year.

  2. Certificates will be sent to the authors for the honor.
